Cleaning your kitchen can be a daunting task. But what if you could knock it out in 20 minutes or less? Today, we’re sharing our favorite tips and tricks for how to clean your kitchen in 20 minutes or less!
How To Clean Your Kitchen In 20 Minutes!!!
Put things away as you go throughout the day to save time
Before you even start cleaning your kitchen, a great way to save time is to put things away as you go throughout your day. Rinse dishes (that don’t need scrubbing) and place them in the dishwasher as you use them, throw napkins and other trash away, put things in their place as you pass by them.
Start with the dishes
Start out your daily kitchen cleaning with the dishes! Here are a couple of tips for knocking out the dishes in no time:
1. The dishwasher is your best friend
It really, really is. Our theory? Anything that can go in the dishwasher should in order to save time. Rinse or scrub as necessary, throw it in, and start the dishwasher!
Use Mrs. Meyer's natural dishwasher soap to get your dishes shiny and clean!
2. Get the family in on dishes
This can really speed up the process! Even that might be some fights Lol.
Put away clutter and appliances
As soon as you’ve started the dishwasher, begin to put away any extra appliances or clutter. Remember that everything should have it’s own place in order to have an organized, clean kitchen!
Wipe down countertops
Using natural cleaning products and a microfiber cloth, wipe down your countertops! You can also wipe down appliances and cabinets if necessary.
Do this all before you sit down for the evening!
After dinner and before sitting down for the evening is the best time to get your daily kitchen cleaning tasks knocked out. After getting your kitchen cleaned up, treat yourself to a restful evening (and probably some chocolate and Netflix 🫶)!
